ProsCon acquisition adds process knowledge and boosts expertise

ProsCon is an Irish-based engineering company providing world-class process and control solutions to manufacturers. The original company started business in 1978, serving the pharmaceutical and chemical Industry in Ireland. Since that time, it has grown to offer engineered solutions in core areas of automation, process technology, modular design and build, validation, site services and MES.

Acquired by Rockwell Automation in 2007, ProsCon combines its process industry knowledge with the technical expertise, broad product portfolio, distribution channels and financial resources of Rockwell Automation. ProsCon’s experience includes projects in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Holland, Singapore, Germany, Denmark and the United States.
Offering a full line of services for the international process industry, ProsCon’s guiding mission is to understand and meet customer expectations. Using a flexible working style, the company can provide a particular service or an entire turnkey project.

ProsCon combines state-of-the-art design tools, modular design and build expertise, strong project management skills, breadth and depth of experience in the integration of automation and information systems with a keen understanding of the regulatory trends.
ProsCon also provides modular design and construction services for new builds, extensions and retrofits including full scale and kilo scale manufacturing, laboratory, pilot plant, clean room, super-skids and high-containment applications. The company offers complete design, fabrication and installation of fully fitted and finished (interior and exterior) process plant modules, which are tested and validated off-site
ready for on-site placement and hook-up.

In addition, ProsCon provides specific expertise on distillation – from solvent recovery for a pharmaceutical facility to ethanol production in a biofuels plant – and abatement techniques for environmental purposes.
